Somos Magazine and The Event Lady always with the Hispanic
community in mind, and trying to satisfy their needs, have founded the Miss Florida Quince (MFQ), the start
of a concentrated effort to bring resources to this area for a very distinct niche consumer group, “The Quince Girl.“
The directors Isabel Albuerne and Natalia Harding added this Expo feature to the Pageant event, as a benefit
which serves to bring useful information, service providers, and new products needed to plan and achieve great quince
celebrations. This first of its kind, targeted industry event took place this past May at the Three Oaks Banquet and Conference
Center, and is just the beginning of a series of trade shows dedicated to the organization of fifteen and sweet sixteen parties.
Quince o Quinceañera Celebrations are a very important tradition for the Hispanic community,
which translates into business opportunities and a growth in consumer needs as well. In the past, many were going to the east
coast to find the providers to help with the coordination of their parties… but no more! Now all a quince girls’
needs can be found locally. “The Miss Florida Quince Expo”, a new annual concept that has arrived to help
fulfill the need for quince information in the area.
The MFQ Expo brought together experts in
this party planning field that were happy to share their knowledge, showcase their products and give away many door
prizes to the guests. It was a fun afternoon, filled with cake tasting opportunities, sampling of hors d’oeuvres, beautiful
décor and helpful information for all the attendees.
The producers of this event are looking forward
to the next show, and bringing much more variety to a consumer group; hungry for new ideas and innovative products.

y The Event Lady siempre pensando en la comunidad hispana y tratando de satisfacer sus necesidades, han fundado Miss
Florida Quince (MFQ), un esfuerzo enfocado a la atracción de recursos a esta área que satisfagan las
necesidades de un grupo de consumidores muy particular, “Las Quinceañeras.”
Las
directoras Isabel Albuerne y Natalia Harding incluyeron un Expo de Negocios relacionados con estas Celebraciones al Primer
Certamen de Miss Florida Quince, una iniciativa que brinda información útil y ofrece proveedores de
servicios y productos que se requieren para la planificación de los Quince. Esta primera exposición que se efectuó
el pasado mes de mayo en los salones del Three Oaks Banquet and Conference Center fue dirigida exclusivamente para la industria
de fiestas de quince y dulces dieciséis.
La celebración de los Quince años es una
tradición muy importante para la comunidad hispana, al mismo tiempo, ofrece oportunidades de negocio y un
crecimiento a las necesidades de los consumidores de estos productos. En el pasado, muchos residentes iban a la costa Este
de la Florida para encontrar los proveedores para la coordinación de sus fiestas. Ahora todas las necesidades de una
quinceañera se pueden satisfacer a nivel local. “El Expo de Miss Florida Quince”, es un nuevo concepto
anual que ha llegado para ofrecer los recursos de información de quinceañeras de esta zona.
MFQ Expo reunió a expertos en este campo de la planificación de fiestas, quienes estaban
muy contentos de compartir sus conocimientos, sus servicios y productos, además de regalar muchos premios a los invitados.
Fue una tarde llena de diversión y oportunidades, degustación de pasteles o cakes, muestras de ricos hors d’oeuvres,
bajo el marco de una fina decoración.
Los productores de MFQ esperan y planifican la próxima
exposición para brindarles más variedad de opciones, hermosas ideas y productos innovadores. El equipo de Miss
Florida Quince agradece a todos los profesionales que apoyaron este evento único.
