Sharing a few thoughts and my new project today...

I think we can all agree that 2020 was not a pleasant year! Some have had a really bad time with it and our prayers are with them. This Event Lady has struggled with some things too, but my family and I have emerged with gratitude and hope for the future.

This mid part of 2021 is slowly bringing life to some sense of normalcy for some of us. The Special Event business has felt Covid very hard! We are all about socializing, getting together and celebrating life's great and special events, so it was not easy for many of my colleagues when the parties stopped! I've been retired from active planning for a while now, but my heart has never left the industry! I follow closely all those around me still working on the field. So many couples and quince girls had their plans postponed, it was difficult and dissapointing to say the least. Thankfully, we are moving on. We are all in this together!  

This year has taught many of us that doing business online is truly a great option! This has been around a long time, but it really took off this past year with creative Zoom Events, Family Reunions, Online Wedding Ceremonies, and of course lots of Online Shopping! For some of us Shopping is Therapy! 

I have always loved the Internet, and sharing articles about the beautiful party industry. I had not written here in a while... felt like I had nothing much to share. All that has changed! I have made a decision to un-retire, in reality, it's a re-birth! The creation of a new way to participate in the wedding and quinceañera business that I love so much while still being a full time Nana.
