PlaceTile's New Erasable Bottle Cork Toppers are a Show Stopper

Not too long ago, we had posted about a company called PlaceTile and their erasable ceramic menu cards and placecards. Well, they've done it again!

They just sent us a Press Release on their new product, "Erasable Ceramic Bottle Stoppers." These useful little corks with beautiful ceramic tops can be used to re-seal your bottles of wine or oil. Their special feature is that they can be personalized or labeled for any social occasion; a great item for wedding favors, or quinceañera keepsakes. They are also handy at identifying your different selections of wines, and your specialty or imported olive oils and dressings, at a formal dinner party when you celebrate at home.

What we like most, is the fact that we can use them over and over, since they are totally erasable. These bottle stoppers retail for $13 for a set of three.

Lauren Karnitz Recycled Wedding Flower Collection

The Event Lady is always looking for ways to offer recyclable and "Green" products that can be incorporated into the planning of bride's wedding reception, and a quinceañera's celebration. Here in Florida, "we are especially particular about preserving the natural surroundings around us."

Lauren Karnitz, has presented us with a collection that follows this line of thinking. Recycled flowers for your wedding cake, and oh! so much more! This international artist has released a truly unique and different collection of pretty and colorful recycled flowers. Originally designed as single stems or arrangements, the flowers have been adopted by brides and quince girls across the country as cake toppers, cake décor, guest gifts or favors, and even corsages and boutonnieres.

Karnitz creates these floral designs using household recyclables such as milk jugs, candy wrappers, shampoo bottles, and straws. Each flower is crafted into stunning varieties such as roses, magnolias, peonies, sunflowers, lilies and hybrids, and as she states, "have a spirit all their own.”
The cake picture below offers a glimpse of her work.

Jackie Arredondo and her Love Songs

Here is a love song to inspire Floridian brides and grooms, it is titled "The Woman You Wanna Be", via this link you can take a peek on itunes. This song is performed by a Miami raised young lady with big dreams and a passion for music, her name is Jackie Arredondo. We loved the words when we heard it, and since we are always looking for wedding songs, thought it would be great to share.

Jackie has many other CDs in her collection, so please make sure you check them out. Another pretty Love balad is "Un Amor Tan Grande" translated in English (A Love so Big.) We have always believed that supporting local talent and businesses is up to us! So today we blog about this bi-lingual treasure, who can perform and delight you in both languages, English and Spanish.

FYI - A bit of her Bio:
Jackie Arredondo was raised in Florida and from a very young age, she started singing with different local bands. As a student of Music at Miami University, her teachers discovered her talent to teach others. This is when Jackie’s career took a turn, and her dreams of becoming a recording artist were placed on hold to pursue a new career as a vocal coach. However, Jackie never stopped dreaming about Nashville, the Grand Ol Opry and Country music, the music that has been her passion since the age of 5. The music of Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Dolly Parton, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban has been an integral part of her life, and she counts their CDs among her most valuable possessions.

Today, after persistency, consistency and much hard work, she is blessed to have her own treasured collection of music, her own songs to share all over the world via itunes or on her websites below.

Housed in a deluxe platinum finish vessel embellished with 450 hand laid clear cut stones, each limited edition bottle is numbered and signed by Kim. The gorgeous bottle is presented in a noir velvet finish case, inspired by a ring box. Only 1,000 bottles were produced—one for Kim to wear on her wedding day, 200 for her bridal shower and 799 to share the love with her fans.

The soft, feminine scent opens with top notes of sparkling red currant, pink freesia and star jasmine. A heart of French mimosa, rare Egyptian tuberose, and rose absolute orpur eases into a rich background of sensual musk, creamy sandalwood, and orris butter.

“I used to think falling in love was the most incredible feeling,” says Kim Kardashian. “But now I see there’s nothing more special than the enduring beauty of building a life with your other half and watching your love grow, each and every day.”

Florida Weddings and Special Events Weblog

The Event Lady's blog posts are focused on the wedding, sweet sixteen and quince/sweet fifteen
celebrations of Florida, we love to hear about many other social events happening in our own Florida communities.

A quince celebration is very much like a wedding reception; it is a traditional coming of age celebration in a young woman's life within the Hispanic culture.
The Event Lady is an expert in both weddings and quinceañera events, and feeling proud of her Cuban heritage; enjoys this very special niche of the special event industry. Quinces parties have very similar planning needs to a wedding event.

We invite Florida brides and quinceañeras of all nationalities to comment on our blogs, each one has a small cooment link on the bottom of each post.

We also invite wedding photographers to tell us about their great events; submit event images with your website credit on them of course on the lower right hand corner
so you can share bridal ideas and savvy wedding tips.

We invite any wedding and quince professionals to inform us about the latest industry news, useful articles and product updates.

We will review your submissions, and if we feel they could be good for this blog, then post them up for you so that the readers;
most importantly our Floridian brides, quince and sweet sixteen girls,
will have additional resources for their event coordination within our tropical Sunshine State region.
