Wedding of Your Dreams Contest for Hispanic Brides in SW Florida

The Wedding of Your Dreams or as the event is called in Spanish, "La Boda de tus Sueños" returns this Spring March 2011 to SW Florida!

eventladyblogs/weboriginallogobodadetussuenosedelatinos.jpg

The tradition began back on Valentine's Day 2010, when a popular TV Show D'Latinos hosted by Mayela Rosales, a well known local TV personality, began inviting Southwest Florida Hispanic brides and grooms to enter a drawing to win a  grand wedding give-away, valued at over $5,000 dollars.

A Nicaraguan bridal couple won the 2010 contest, Martha and José Reyes received a wonderful wedding prize, and enjoyed a fun and emotional afternoon on February 14, 2010.

The tradition continues and improves this year, now gaining strength! This year's bridal contest will take place in the well attended local community event of The Collier County Fair, which also offer party rental space on the fairgrounds for all special events.

This year two winning couples were selected.
The major prize winners were, Judi Rosas and Jose Manuel Rosas, and a runner up couple, Fabiola Elizalde and Hector Sauzedo.

They will both celebrate a wedding ceremony and exchange romantic wedding vows on Sunday afternoon March 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm by the Ferris Wheel inside the Collier County Fairgrounds. This special event including their private wedding reception will be aired Live on La Ley Radio that afternoon, and can also be the following week on D'Latinos Daily TV Show on Azteca America SW Florida, and on their website.

This wedding contest is a production of the D'Latinos Magazine and it's equally named Hispanic television show, owned by Media Vista Group Inc. Their varied, Spanish content TV program can be seen on Comcast channels 231, 80.4 and 611 DirecTV and Dish Network channels 14. Their broad operations include TV Azteca America in SWFL.

Another media sponsor spreading the word is La Ley Radio Station WAFZ 92.1FM and 1490AM. La Ley is one of the radio stations of the Glades Media Group. These media sources reach a large portion and cultural segments of the Latino population, especially targeting the areas of Fort Myers, Naples, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, and even as far as the city of La Belle.

The 2011 "Novios" will receive a complete wedding of their dreams, courtesy of many local Hispanic wedding professionals involved in this project. These are innovative and hard working vendors of the special event industry, who are working hard in this area of SW Florida, and growing in numbers everyday.

The Event Lady of Florida Weddings and Special Events will be there to officiate the romantic ceremony in Spanish, with some English touches, plus of course keep you posted on the upcoming, exciting wedding celebration outcome!

Florida Weddings and Special Events Weblog

The Event Lady's blog posts are focused on the wedding, sweet sixteen and quince/sweet fifteen
celebrations of Florida, we love to hear about many other social events happening in our own Florida communities.

A quince celebration is very much like a wedding reception; it is a traditional coming of age celebration in a young woman's life within the Hispanic culture.
The Event Lady is an expert in both weddings and quinceañera events, and feeling proud of her Cuban heritage; enjoys this very special niche of the special event industry. Quinces parties have very similar planning needs to a wedding event.

We invite Florida brides and quinceañeras of all nationalities to comment on our blogs, each one has a small cooment link on the bottom of each post.

We also invite wedding photographers to tell us about their great events; submit event images with your website credit on them of course on the lower right hand corner
so you can share bridal ideas and savvy wedding tips.

We invite any wedding and quince professionals to inform us about the latest industry news, useful articles and product updates.

We will review your submissions, and if we feel they could be good for this blog, then post them up for you so that the readers;
most importantly our Floridian brides, quince and sweet sixteen girls,
will have additional resources for their event coordination within our tropical Sunshine State region.
