The Grill at Tamiami Trail… a New Place to Celebrate Good Food and Life!

These hard times are inspiration for those with a flair for entrepreneurship, and proof once more, “That when the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

The Event Lady is happy to announce, that another Hispanic- owned business has opened its doors in Fort Myers, a cozy restaurant with a popular name in the industry… “The Grill”, but this specific one is right on the Trail, in the heartland of Southwest Florida.  Appropriately so… it has been named The Grill at Tamiami Trail.

This new bistro is owned and operated by TV Host and Producer Mr. Martin Ycaza, of the daily Hispanic TV Program En Casa con Martin Ycaza, which airs at 11:30 am on Telemundo’s local station, Monday thru Friday. Martin is a hard working Latino from Ecuador. He is well known in both American and Spanish social circles. As a leader of the community, he is always coming up with ways to bring people together and adds flair and passion to all his innovative efforts. This new venture is perfect … a place to meet, dine, and have a good time. His motto: “Mi Casa Es tu Casa” (My Home is Your Home.) a creative slogan for his restaurant, a project which he proudly shares with his close knit family and work team; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ycaza Sr., and his sister Maytee Ycaza, his right hand in business. Again, here is proof that many of old sayings are true in life, “The family that works together stays together.”

Ycaza, a local Spanish TV personality has chosen a universal way to join cultures… the love for great food! He shares his experience in the restaurant business, from back in the days when he lived in California, and managed a restaurant location that served over 500 consumers.

A restaurateur never looses his touch to create and serve delicious food… “Once it’s in the blood you just cannot let it go.” Today Martin is proud to bring forth a menu that will satisfy a diversified community for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The National Association of Wedding Professionals (NAWP), it's Naples Chapter, will present the 2010 Naples Sunset Weddings Show, this Sunday, October 24, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the famous Naples Beach Hotel.
