Naples Artcrafters invites our residents and visitors to escape for a day into the calm world of fine art and crafts on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 10am to 4pm.  Take a stroll through beautiful Cambier Park in downtown Naples and enjoy the conversation and beautiful work of professional artisans while you are serenaded by the "4 Tall Guys Barbershop Quartet" or entranced by Emilia Lupinski, a 12 old violinist who has delighted many with her innocent rendition of the classics.

Artists will exhibit beautiful paintings in oil, watercolor, acrylic or mixed media, photography captured by the artists’ eye, sculpture and either stained or fused glass. You will find pottery that serves as both functional and artistic pieces for home décor.  Jewelry crafted from precious metals, gem stones and handmade beads as well as fabulous handmade furniture will also be exhibited.

Our featured artisan is Leo Spignesi, a former member of the Norfolk Artisans in Connecticut where he retired as a finish carpenter for United Technologies.  Using his own designs as patterns, he developed a unique art of hand-crafted furniture.  His furniture is a must see.

The "4 Tall Guys Barbershop Quartet" are members of the Paradise Coastmen Barbershop Chorus, a group of men from all walks of life, united by a love of 4-part a cappella harmony. They will perform from 10:30am till noon. Let yourself go back in time with songs of yesteryear, full of toe-tapping rhythm and heart warming melodies, while you surround yourself in the ambiance of Cambier Park.

While you enjoy the day, take the opportunity to learn more about beautiful Cambier Park by visiting our Community Outreach tent where you will be greeted by a wonderful representative of the Norris Center who will answer your questions about the park, its history and the amenities it offers.

Naples Artcrafters welcomes you and your guests to join us for a day of art, entertainment and serenity. So, come on! Meet us in the park and let your senses be tickled! Admission and parking are free.

This Weekend October 25th and 26th, come and enjoy the
