The Sandpiper Inn on Longboat Key Preview

Longboat Key offers an extremely versatile vacation experience, one in which you decide your pace and plan your day according to your desires. You can spend a day in Sarasota visiting famous places such as John and Mable’s Ringling Museum of Art where you might enjoy a complete tour of the Ca'D'Zan, the Mote Marine Aquarium or the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. These mansions offer spacious wedding facilities as well, for those that dream of a grand style wedding reception. The rest of my vacation was very laid back; I even got to do some fishing with Captain Mark Gore of The Fish Tale Co. I was quite impressed with a narrated Boat Tour with U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain Jimmy Seaton and his Liquid Limousine; now that's a ride to really take in the beauty of what the area has to offer in just a couple of hours. What a treat!

After such fun and excitement, it is good to know you can return to a relaxing ambiance, a place where you can pull up a beach chair and watch magnificent sunsets and dolphins frolicking nearby, or stay in and nap for a while, and maybe cook your very own barbecue. The forgotten concept of tranquility and the enjoyment of simple nature is what the Sandpiper Inn offered to me. It is here that "I re-discovered peace and appreciation for trying to live at a slower pace, inspired by a small but priceless location."

Florida Weddings and Special Events Weblog

The Event Lady's blog posts are focused on the wedding, sweet sixteen and quince/sweet fifteen
celebrations of Florida, we love to hear about many other social events happening in our own Florida communities.

A quince celebration is very much like a wedding reception; it is a traditional coming of age celebration in a young woman's life within the Hispanic culture.
The Event Lady is an expert in both weddings and quinceañera events, and feeling proud of her Cuban heritage; enjoys this very special niche of the special event industry. Quinces parties have very similar planning needs to a wedding event.

We invite Florida brides and quinceañeras of all nationalities to comment on our blogs, each one has a small cooment link on the bottom of each post.

We also invite wedding photographers to tell us about their great events; submit event images with your website credit on them of course on the lower right hand corner
so you can share bridal ideas and savvy wedding tips.

We invite any wedding and quince professionals to inform us about the latest industry news, useful articles and product updates.

We will review your submissions, and if we feel they could be good for this blog, then post them up for you so that the readers;
most importantly our Floridian brides, quince and sweet sixteen girls,
will have additional resources for their event coordination within our tropical Sunshine State region.
