A Naples Based Photographer Offers a Great Teen Summer Activity

The Event Lady thinks this is a great idea!
A local Naples business is offering a great way for teens to learn and have an interesting and safe summer activity.
I invite my all my quince girl readers to consider this photography workshop.
Fun stuff! Who knows we could have one famous photographer come out of this photography workshop, right here in SW Florida.
Kudoos to You Peggy Farren of Avant - Garde:
You can Visit her website at: www.NaplesPortraits.com
Here is the Info We Received from them:

Avant-Garde is Offering Teen Photography Workshops

Teen Photography Workshops
Saturdays 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Professional Portrait and Fashion Photographer Peggy Farren will hold a series of workshops for teenagers.  Peggy's photographs have graced the covers and insides of both local and national magazines.

June 13:  Posing  Cambier Park
June 20:  Lighting  Naples Secret Garden
June 27:  Composition and Creativity  Third Street S.
July 11:  Basic Studio Lighting
Avant-Garde studio on Linwood

Each workshop is $45 or $150 for all four (paid in advance).
For teens ages 15-18
Limit six students

Bring your camera.  A good camera is nice, but any digital camera will do.  It's the photographer, not the camera, that creates a great photograph!
We'll work with models.  The first hour will be instruction, then two students will spend an hour with their model, the last hour will be critique and discussion.
This class is already filling up so we are considering offering the same workshops on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Is there any interest?  Let me know!

Florida Weddings and Special Events Weblog

The Event Lady's blog posts are focused on the wedding, sweet sixteen and quince/sweet fifteen
celebrations of Florida, we love to hear about many other social events happening in our own Florida communities.

A quince celebration is very much like a wedding reception; it is a traditional coming of age celebration in a young woman's life within the Hispanic culture.
The Event Lady is an expert in both weddings and quinceañera events, and feeling proud of her Cuban heritage; enjoys this very special niche of the special event industry. Quinces parties have very similar planning needs to a wedding event.

We invite Florida brides and quinceañeras of all nationalities to comment on our blogs, each one has a small cooment link on the bottom of each post.

We also invite wedding photographers to tell us about their great events; submit event images with your website credit on them of course on the lower right hand corner
so you can share bridal ideas and savvy wedding tips.

We invite any wedding and quince professionals to inform us about the latest industry news, useful articles and product updates.

We will review your submissions, and if we feel they could be good for this blog, then post them up for you so that the readers;
most importantly our Floridian brides, quince and sweet sixteen girls,
will have additional resources for their event coordination within our tropical Sunshine State region.
